Why the decision is still open
Cord fray, spring fatigue, bent slats, torn fabric, and jammed tracks are predictable across materially different blind and shade systems. This is a research direction, not a terminal EMPTY ruling.
What prevents a clear pick
- Nonreplaceable cords or springs, sealed lift mechanisms, fragile slats, unserviceable tracks, and parts that disappear after a short production cycle.
What a qualifying product must do
- Split incompatible covering Forms, test repairability and parts access, then issue a bounded ruling rather than a universal blind verdict.
