A shortlist is not a conclusion
When no product meets a defined standard, adding more alternatives does not fix the evidence. It simply returns the comparison work to the reader.
Make the gap visible
An empty finding should explain what a qualifying object would have to do, and what prevents current products from doing it. That gives the reader a useful boundary for the decision.
Leave room for new evidence
A standard does not need to soften just because the answer is inconvenient. New evidence can change a finding; the desire to sell something cannot.
